Yoeleo Test Team Period 2 : Bringing Success back to North America

Yoeleo Test Team Period 2 : Bringing Success back to North America

After a successful camp in Valencia and some solid results in our European block, Yoeleo Test Team was looking to bring this fitness and gained fitness to our Period 2 goals at Tour of the Gila, Joe Martin Stage Race and National Championships.

Tour of the Gila, saw an incredible fight for GC with Toby ending up 3rd after winning stage 1 up Mogollon, one of the most iconic climbs in America . The team supported him throughout and he was able to put a final attempt at the GC win on the final day. Toby ends up third and confirms his incredible stage racing prowess.

Joe Martin Stage Race saw the deepest field in years. After a difficult stage 1, the team regrouped to assist Toby deliver on the stage 2 summit finish. The following day saw Toby miss out on the uphill TT win he was looking for, but all that disappointment went into a final day where he was able to light fireworks in the criterium and make the breakaway. Nationals gives everyone that coveted opportunity to wear a distinctive jersey for a year in all the races they attend. The team was fighting for titles on 2 continents the same weekend. Big digs were definitely had. Nicolas Cote achieved a 6th place in the Canadian National Criterium Event.

Looking forward to period 3 in Europe where we can gather all our best riders together to strive toward a strong second half of the year!
